Sources

We rely on primary sources: RBI master directions and circulars, SEBI and AMFI circulars, the Income-tax Act and CBDT notifications, GST Council decisions, and official bank and AMC documents. News reports are used only to find primary sources.

Fact-checking

• Every number in a worked example is recalculated before publishing.
• Rates that change often (repo rate, small-savings rates, bank lending rates) are dated in the text.
• Where sources disagree or a rule is unclear, we say so instead of guessing.

Updates

We review articles after every Union Budget, RBI policy meeting and quarterly small-savings rate revision. Each article shows its last-updated date.
