Live news coverage reported that the status was still not out at around 10:30 pm on 26 October and was finalised at about 12:30 am on 27 October. Allotment files for very large issues take longer to process; this one had about 1.39 crore applications.
For the full issue details (price band ₹1,065-1,119, lot of 12 shares, subscription by category), see our Jio Platforms IPO guide and the live IPO dashboard.
Method 1: check on KFin Technologies (registrar)
KFin Technologies Limited is the registrar to the Jio Platforms issue, so its page is the primary source.
- Open KFin Technologies' IPO status page at ipostatus.kfintech.com. Type it yourself; do not use links forwarded on messaging apps.
- Select Jio Platforms Limited from the IPO list.
- Choose one search option: application number, demat account (DP ID and client ID), or PAN.
- Enter the details and the captcha.
- Submit. The result shows shares applied for and shares allotted.
If the page is slow on result day, try a little later or use BSE or NSE instead. The status is the same; only the website differs.
Method 2: check on BSE
- Open the BSE IPO application status page (bseindia.com, under Investors, "Application Status").
- Select issue type Equity.
- Select Jio Platforms Limited as the issue name.
- Enter your application number or PAN.
- Tick the captcha and click Search.
Method 3: check on NSE
- Open the NSE IPO bid verification page (nseindia.com, under Invest, "Check Trades, Bids and Verify IPO Bids").
- Select "Equity and SME IPO bid details".
- Choose the Jio Platforms issue from the list.
- Enter your PAN and application number.
- Submit.
NSE may ask for a one-time sign-up with PAN and mobile number.
Other quick ways to know
| Signal | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Bank SMS: amount unblocked in full | Not allotted |
| Bank SMS: partial debit (₹13,428 for 1 lot at ₹1,119) plus unblock of the rest | Allotted that many shares |
| CDSL or NSDL SMS/email: credit of Jio Platforms shares | Allotted; shares in demat |
| Broker app IPO section | Updates after the registrar file is out |
Worked example: what your result means in rupees (illustrative)
Priya bid for 3 lots (36 shares) at ₹1,119 in the retail category. ₹40,284 was blocked (36 × ₹1,119). Assume the final price is ₹1,119.
| Outcome | Debit | Unblocked |
|---|---|---|
| 1 lot allotted (12 shares) | 12 × ₹1,119 = ₹13,428 | ₹40,284 − ₹13,428 = ₹26,856 |
| Not allotted | ₹0 | ₹40,284 |
Why only one lot even though she bid for three? With retail subscribed about 2.72 times, SEBI's allotment rule gives one minimum lot to as many retail applicants as possible, by lottery when there are more applicants than lots. Extra lots go out only if lots are left over after that, which is unlikely at this level of demand.
If Priya had also applied in the Reliance shareholder quota with the same PAN (allowed for eligible RIL shareholders in this issue, as reported from the RHP), that application is allotted separately, so she would see two results.
What each status means
| Status shown | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Allotted: 12 (or more) shares | You got shares | Check demat on 27-28 Oct; plan listing day |
| Allotted: 0 / Not allotted | Valid bid, lost the lottery | Watch for unblock SMS by 27 Oct |
| Rejected / invalid | Technical problem with the bid | Read the reason; money should be released |
| Record not found | Not uploaded yet, or wrong details | Recheck details; try BSE/NSE |
Common reasons for a rejected Jio bid include a UPI mandate not approved by 5 pm on 23 October, a UPI ID or bank account not in the applicant's name, or the same PAN bidding twice in the same category. See the rejection checklist in how to apply for an IPO online.
If something goes wrong
- Money still blocked after 27 October: contact your bank (the SCSB) with the application number, then the registrar. Steps and the compensation rule are in IPO money blocked not refunded.
- Allotted but shares not in demat by listing morning: check your CDSL or NSDL statement, then email the registrar and your broker with the application number, DP ID and client ID.
- Registrar contact: the investor grievance email for the issue is printed in the RHP; issue summaries list it as jioplatforms.ipo@kfintech.com. Confirm it in the RHP before writing.
- Unresolved: file on SEBI SCORES (scores.sebi.gov.in) after giving the registrar or bank a chance to fix it.
Watch out for scams
Fraudsters use big IPOs to push fake "allotment check" links and "guaranteed allotment" offers. No one can change a lottery result. Never pay anyone to get or confirm allotment, and never share your UPI PIN, OTP or demat password. Check only on KFin Technologies, BSE or NSE.
Listing day: 28 October 2026
Allotted shares can be sold from listing day. The exchanges run a special pre-open session from 9 am to 10 am to discover the opening price, and normal trading in the new shares usually starts at 10 am. Read IPO listing day: what to do for sell-or-hold points and price bands. Grey market numbers quoted before listing are unofficial; see what IPO GMP is.

Frequently asked questions
When was the Jio IPO allotment out?
The basis of allotment was scheduled for Monday, 26 October 2026. News reports said it was still awaited late that night and was finalised just after midnight, on Tuesday, 27 October. Status pages update once the registrar uploads the file.
Where can I check Jio IPO allotment status?
On the IPO status page of KFin Technologies, the registrar, and on the BSE and NSE IPO application status pages. You need your PAN, application number or DP and client ID.
Why does the KFintech page show record not found for Jio?
Usually the data was not uploaded yet when you checked, the PAN or application number was mistyped, or the bid was not validated. Try another search key, then check BSE or NSE. Heavy traffic on result day can also slow the site.
When will Jio IPO money be unblocked if not allotted?
Under the T+3 timeline the amount should be released by T+2, which is Tuesday, 27 October 2026. If it is still blocked on 28 October, contact your bank with the application number.
When will Jio shares come into my demat account?
Allotted shares are due to be credited on 27 October 2026 and should show before listing on 28 October. Your depository may also send an SMS or email when the credit happens.
My Jio application shows not allotted. Did I do something wrong?
Not necessarily. With the retail portion subscribed about 2.72 times, there were not enough lots for every valid applicant, so a lottery decided who got one lot. Not allotted means you did not win the draw.
